Heterozygous - Two different alleles. For example, heterozygous brown eyes means that the genotype is Bb.
*Note, if it is heterozygous it means that the phenotype will automatically show the dominant trait. Homozygous - Two of the same alleles. For example, homozygous brown eyes would mean that the genotype is BB. Homozygous blue eyes means that the genotype is bb.
